Between March and July 2020, I immersed myself in the realm of podcasts and audiobooks. What I’m captivated by is how the democratization of the platform allows us to share our stories with the world in our own voices, the same way WordPress allows people to blog with the click of a button.
While I have a few ideas with podcasts, none have excited me as much as the opportunity to collaborate with my mother. Together, we’ve started a weekly show titled “Tuesdays with Mummy” (an ode to Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie) – where we’re hoping to essay our lives as we grow older. Our ambition is outlined in our first episode, but we’re driven by the chance to create auditory memories that are permanent and lasting.
